I heard Alice Cooper's "I'm Eighteen" last night for the first time in a long time, and noted that the Like it, Love it, Like it, Love it part at the end was paid tribute to in Turbonegro's "Get It On". I'm sure you all are as excited as I am to make this connection.

The other night I was doing laundry at a coin-op near my apartment. It was about 9:30, and on the tv came one of those Cinemax soft-core porn movies. I have nothing against porn, but it was definitely a little squinky having it come up in a brightly lit room with several strangers in their doing laundry clothes. There weren't any kids around at the time, though a 5 year old had been in there a few minutes before. I'm probably just being a prude.

Going to a wedding this Saturday up in Grand Lake, about a hundred miles away. Been looking forward to it for months, I know most of the guests, and they are a rockin' crew. Part of the evening's activities will include performances by The Omens, and Black Lamb. Everything is within 1/4 mile of my motel room, which is good, since it's at altitude and liquor is going to be extra effective.

Alan has been away for so long
